SCREENING EXERCISE FOR ND ADMISSION IN THE 2016/2017 ACADEMIC SESSION


All 2016/2017 UTME candidates who applied to Federal Polytechnic, Nekede as Institution of First or Second choice with a UTME Score of 180 and above are requested to forward on line at www.fpno.edu.ng., the following particulars:
a) O’Level Result
(WASSCE, NECO and NABTEB)
b) UTME Score
c) Jamb Subject combination for the course applied.
Candidates who are awaiting their O’Level (Nov. 2015 and May/June, 2016) results are also eligible to apply.
In addition, a Screening fee of #2,500.00 (Two thousand, five hundred naira only) should be paid into Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Treasury Single Account (TSA) 0140468461017 nationwide.
Duration: All submissions and payments must be completed on or before Wednesday, 31st August, 2016.
NOTE:
Any wrong information disqualifies the candidate.

ONLINE APPLICATION FOR ND – NATIONAL DIPLOMA (MORNING AND CONTINUOUS EDUCATION PROGRAMMES)

NOTE:
➢ ALL PAYMENTS FOR THE ND MORNING PROGRAMME ARE MADE ON REMITA PLATFORM, WHILE ND EVENING AND WEEKEND PROGRAMMES ARE MADE ON ETRANZACT PLATFORM AT THE BANK.
➢ PLEASE RETURN TO THE PORTAL (http://ndapplication.fpno.edu.ng/) TO COMPLETE THE PROCESS AFTER PAYMENT.
Step 1:
• Visit the school portal http://ndapplication.fpno.edu.ng/
• Select ‘Applicants’ and click on ‘Generate Invoice’
• Then fill in your details (Please make sure to enter the correct information)
• Click on ‘Generate Invoice’ button at the bottom to display the Application Form Invoice.
• Print the INVOICE
• Proceed to any of the designated banks to make payment.
• Present your INVOICE to the teller at the bank and pay.
Please note that all payments for the ND Morning programmes are made on Remita platform, while  ND Evening and Weekend programmes are made on E-tranzact platform at the bank. Kindly notify the teller at the bank.
• Retrieve your bank slip (print-out) containing a RRR (MORNING) or CONFIRMATION ORDER NUMBER (EVENING OR WEEKEND) from the teller.
Step 2:
• Revisit the school portal  http://ndapplication.fpno.edu.ng/
• Select ‘Applicants’ and click on ‘Fill Application Form’
• Enter your RRR or CONFIRMATION ORDER NUMBER
• Fill in the necessary information and submit the form. (Please make sure all details are correct before submission)
• Then print Acknowledgement slip

HND SCREENING EXERCISE

 

This is to inform all candidates who applied for HND (Full time Programme), that screening has been scheduled as follows:

Wednesday:  17th August, School of Business and Management Technology, (SBMT), School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) and Library & Information Science.
Thursday:  18th August, School of Engineering Technology (SET) School of Industrial and Applied Science (SIAS) and School of Environmental Design Technology (SEDT).
Application on-line commences on 20th July, 2016 and closes on Monday, 15th August, 2016.
Method of Application
1. All Candidates must first go to the school portal www.fpno.edu.ng and click on “Application link” on the home page under students (HND).
2. Submit your application number on the box provided and generate an invoice, print or copy out the invoice number, (you can do this on your mobile phone).
3. Proceed to any bank of your choice and make a payment of two thousand, five hundred naira, only (N2500) on REMITA platform, Account No. 0140468461017, using your invoice number.
You can also choose to make your payment using your verve, visa or master card. If you choose the card payment option, you will be asked to fill the card details for the payment to be processed immediately.
4. Return to the school portal www.fpno.edu.ng and complete your application process. Submit your data as requested and print out your card
You will return to the portal immediately to print your receipt and acknowledgement slip.

Federal Poly Nekede Evening and Weekend Admission Form – 2016/17 [HND & ND]

How to Apply for Nekede Poly Part Time Programme

Interested and eligible applicants are to visit the college portal at: fpno.edu.ng and when the page loads up, under the PORTAL LINKS, depending on your interest, choose either “2016/2017 ND Part Time Reg” or “2016/2017 HND Part Time Reg” to proceed.
Fill your Bio-data in the form and generate an invoice, print or copy out the invoice number, (this can be done on your mobile phone).
To apply, generate an invoice online  and then proceed to appropriate bank to make payment.
To generate an invoice, go to http://ndapplication.fpno.edu.ng for ND.  HND candidates should go to http://50.87.56.89/portal/site/apply.

Proceed to the Federal Polytechnic Micro Finance bank and make a payment of N7,500 (Seven Thousand Five Hundred Naira Only) for ND applicants and N8,000 (eight thousand naira only) for HND applicants. on e-tranzact platform using your invoice number.
Return to college portal @fpno.edu.ng and complete your application process. Submit your data as requested and print out your acknowledgement slip.

Closing Date

All application procedures MUST be concluded on or before 12 midnight of Thursday, 30th June, 2016.

Federal Polytechnic Nekede ND Admission Requirements.

5 O’ Level credit passes to include English and Mathematics, plus other relevant subjects.

Federal Polytechnic Nekede HND Admission Requirements.

I) Candidates must hold the minimum entry requirements for ND programme in the specified field.
II) They must possess the National Diploma of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri or the equivalent from recognized institutions in the appropriate discipline with minimum of lower credit pass (CGPA 2.50).
III) For candidates with pass level and CGPA not below 2.00 points, a minimum of two years post ND cognate working experience is required. (Applicable to Federal Polytechnic Nekede (ND) graduates only).
IV) Candidates from other institutions with pass level are not admittable.
